Service on Campus

Some on-campus organizations with a focus on service & volunteering.

The mission of the Community Programs Office, UCLA’s cross-cultural center, is to build and nurture an inclusive and diverse community of scholars and leaders who are committed to giving back to historically marginalized communities by engaging, educating, and empowering students to develop and execute student-initiated, student-run outreach, service and retention programs.

As the community service focused office of UCLA student government (USAC), we serve both as an umbrella organization for 33 student-run service projects, and a center for the service efforts of the campus community, using large-scale service programming, and advocacy & awareness initiatives to engage UCLA students in service.

UCLA offers over 1,300 student organizations including student government, academic, leadership, spiritual & religious, club sports, and community service organizations that you can get involved in. Search are our diverse groups and find your community!

UCLA Health volunteers are exceptional individuals who give back to their community. Over 3000 people volunteer monthly throughout 250 departments at UCLA Health. These men, women and teenagers donate their time and share their talents throughout our hospitals, research facilities and patient care areas, bringing a special personal touch to our patients and families.
