Zawadi Cultural Collective

Zawadi Cultural Collective began out of the need for culturally diverse programs and events that empower and inspire the underserved community of color in the San Fernando Valley and to bring together the talents, businesses and families to form a strong collective unit. They host a weekly food distribution. Volunteers will help unload food boxes, set up tables and pop up tents, organize the food and supervise as the community members pick up their items.

(Please be aware that the time listed is for the actual service project. If you are taking the bus to the project site, we will ask volunteers to meet at a central location from 7:30am - 7:45am for breakfast and to account for travel time to the project site.)
