Virtual Reality STEM opportunity

April 27th, 2018

Location: 4505 Glencoe Avenue Marina del Rey CA 90292
Duration: Single Day
Date: Apr 27, 2018 • 9AM - 5PM

This is a FREE event for middle – high school aged students. The mission is to introduce the next generation to exciting new technologies in XR, and inspire them to explore paths that could lead to careers in STE(A)M fields.

Volunteers to help with demonstrations, be on deck for set up, and be of general assistance. Volunteers need to get a 15 minute run down from me about how to use VR and how to successfully help someone try it out.

There will be LOTS of cool tech to play with, and you’ll get to see VR stuff. 🙂 More than happy to document your hours. I know many scholarships require a certain amount of volunteer work.

We can work out the best time for you to come in, there’s no need to stay the entire time. As long as you can come in for at least an hour, that is fine. The event runs 9:30a – 5p, so we can figure out a good shift within that time frame.
