VOLUNTEER TO READ ALOUD TO CHILDREN IN UNDER-SERVED LAUSD SCHOOLS!

November 13th, 2012

LIGHT UP A LIBRARY (LUL) is a program of the National Council of Jewish Women/LA (NCJW/LA) that addresses the critical, unmet needs in under-funded Title I LAUSD school libraries. Volunteers provide grade appropriate story-time and teach students how to navigate their way through the library as they seek books for both school projects and personal pleasure.

Volunteer opportunities are available Mon-Fri between the hours of 8am-2pm. We’ll find a day and time that works with your schedule!
