Volunteer Orientation

March 2nd, 2011

Lamp Community is a Los Angeles-based agency that works to permanently end homelessness, improve health and build self-sufficiency among men and women living with severe mental illness. Operating throughout Skid Row and South Los Angeles, Lamp has provided high-quality housing and support services to one of the city’s most vulnerable populations for more than 25 years.

We are beginning our Spring Volunteer Program and would love for all interested parties to lend a hand. We are looking for volunteers to help out with clean-up days, special events and field trips for our clients, recreation classes, and hygiene kit drives. Limited internship opportunities are also available.

Contact Kelly Thomas, Development Coordinator at 213.270.9040 or via email at kellyt@lampcommunity.org for more information.
