Volunteer Opportunity with UCLA’s Retirement Community

December 1st, 2017

Location: 5308 Math Sciences Los Angeles California 90095
Duration: Single Day
Date: Dec 1, 2017 • 10AM - 12PM

We are approaching our First Friday event scheduled for December 1st from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the YRL Research Library. We will have many retirees signed up for laptop, tablet, and smart phone help. Please send me an email if you are available to volunteer!

First Fridays is a program in which volunteers work one-on-one with retired UCLA staff and faculty to help them with technology. Retirees and Emeriti often need help using their smartphones, organizing their pictures, downloading an app from the app store, setting up email or navigating social media.

This is a great opportunity to give back to the retirement community through the skills and talents of campus technology experts. As indicated by Chancellor Gene Block: “This model truly demonstrates “Bruin helping Bruin.” Please email me at if you are free to come help out.
