November 20th, 2017

Duration: Single Day
Date: Nov 20, 2017 • 10AM - 11AM

GEAR UP’s mission is to engage middle schoolers and high schoolers to develop a profound interest in college and provide our students with the essential resources to guide them into college. We are a program that provides a vast array of services including in-class and after-school tutoring, workshops, events, and field trips.

We would love to offer our students an opportunity to experience UCLA. Many of our students actually see UCLA as a prospective school, so this would be an amazing chance for them. Since all tour guides are booked, we are hoping for a few volunteers to guide around 100 middle schoolers (7th and 8th grade) to a brief tour around the campus. Of course, there will be many chaperones including staff and teachers.
