UCLA Lab School is an innovative school for children and a laboratory for teachers and researchers. The practices developed and refined here have an impact on K-12 education around the world. The Creek Restoration Project impacts students lives: changing students understanding of what’s around them by bringing them closer to nature and having a different kind of beauty touch their lives. The result is a safe, aesthetic environment for students to learn and a cornerstone for the UCLA Lab School. This One Bus, One Cause Project, The Creek Restoration Project, will involve helping weed invasive species, cleaning the creek area and planting native plants.
