Location: 3373 Isabel dr Los Angeles CA 90065
Duration: Single Day
Date: May 5, 2019 • 8AM - 5PM
Our mission is to improve healthcare delivery to patients with kidney disease, hypertension, and diabetes by implementing our CORE values of Clinical Excellence, Outreach, Research, & Education. We aim to spread awareness and provide resources for all patients, healthcare providers, and the general public. Our focus is on integrative medicine, with emphasis on prevention and education, so patients can become their best own advocates. We advance our campaign through our annual Kidney Fair at Santa Monica Beach Park. Participants are able to learn about the different types of kidney disease and related conditions, treatments, management strategies, and how to support friends and family with kidney disease. The feedback from participants show improvements in their lifestyles including a heightened knowledge and interest in kidney health.
All proceeds raised will go directly to research, education, and outreach of kidney disease.
Our aim is to set up a Kidney Center at UCLA that embodies not only the CORE Kidney Program’s vision but also the mission of UCLA Health: healing humankind one patient at a time. Thank U!
