We are a UCLA Program that is in partnership with Los Angeles Unified School District’s Beyond the Bell After School Program and we are a full service after school program offering tutoring, sports and arts activities after school. We are especially in need of Math and Science tutors who are capable of tutoring high school math and science. However, if you have a special skill or area of interest, such as a specific art or dance medium, computer graphics, photography etc. we are always looking for individuals who want to teach the students about their passions and interests.
The school is very close to UCLA, only about 2 miles away and is very accessible by bus from the UCLA campus. Our program is run out of the University High School Campus and all volunteers need to be able to come to the high school.
If you are bilingual in Spanish, Korean, Chinese or Farsi, it’s a big plus for us. The campus is very diverse and we have students who come from all over Los Angeles (and the world) who attend the high school.
If you are interested, please email or text me your information so we can set up a time for you to come to the school. When contacting me, please give me your full name, phone #, email address and days and times you are available.
3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Does not have to be everyday, can be one to five days per week. The school does get out early every other Tuesday, so if you can come at 1:30 on Tuesdays, please let me know.
