October 26th, 2012

Did you know?African American infants are 2 times more likely than White infants to be delivered preterm or at a low birth rate?

Want to know how to reverse the trend? Then join us on Saturday, November 3 for a prematurity awareness training at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena. You will receive a certificate from the March of Dimes, network with other students and community members and learn about volunteer opportunities in 2013.

Registration opens at 8:30 am Refreshments provided including continental breakfast and boxed lunch. Must
RSVP online at idreamnow.org/?p=316.

We are looking for 5-10 volunteers to set-up/clean-up/staff registration table/provide tech support (if needed)/assist speakers & guests. You participation will also make you eligible for the 4-hour certificate.
