The Help Group’s Miracle Project is an amazing 20-week after-school musical theater program for children on the autism spectrum. With the help of staff and volunteers, the children perform a full musical theater production, as well as contribute to writing the show and the music, and creating the sets and costumes! Starting in January, volunteers each week help guide the children towards their goal, culminating in an awe-inspiring performance in early June. Experience with children on the autism spectrum is preferred but not necessary; just a sincere desire to work with this population and help! We welcome college students, including those in psychology, child development, special education, drama, theater, music and art.
