Do you have an interest in Psychology, Special Education, Theater or Music?
Volunteer at the Help Group in an amazing and awe-inspiring musical theater production called The Miracle Project! This is a program where children with special needs, including those with autism, can shine! Together with professional staff and other volunteers, you will be helping children on the Autism Spectrum to create, score, script, practice and perform an original musical production over the course of 4 weeks this summer. Volunteers will be required to attend all 12 meetings over the course of 4 weeks in July, including the culminating performance on July 29th. Meetings are held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from July 6th to July 29th, from 1:45 to 4:30 pm. Volunteers love this program! One volunteer said it was “one of the most, if not the most, incredible experience(s) of my life!”
Hurry! You must move quickly to become involved! Volunteers must be 16 or over, and should contact Ann Avidor, Volunteer Coordinator, right away, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 818-779-5233, to attend an introductory meeting and to apply. We can’t wait to see you!
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from July 6th to July 29th (4 weeks) from 1:45 pm to 4:30 pm.
