Team Push Up’s purpose is to enable veterans and non-Service Members who have experienced trauma, or looking to support those who have, with social support groups that allow all members to grow individually and as a team, with welcoming events and networking opportunities in order for all to achieve fulfilling lives. Our programs include creating social events, team building exercises, volunteering activities, educational and personal development events, professional networking opportunities, and professional support resource networking.
We’re a young charity, almost reaching our first birthday, which is exciting, but we also need to start growing a bit. We have an amazing and diverse Board of Directors, but need some help with handling tasks in order to keep our operational tempo high. We’re looking for volunteers who can help with a number of areas like social media outreach, fundraising and financial/legal organization, and event planning. We all have busy lives, and Team Push Up is dedicated to understanding we are all volunteers and have other demands to our time. Our hope is that we have enough volunteers who can give a little time to put into a big effort of supporting veterans and other supporters who have experienced trauma in their own lives.
