Teach Low-Income Students Reading

October 7th, 2020

Location: po box 388 diablo ca 94528
Duration: Multiple Days
First Day : Oct 7, 2020
Last Day: Dec 11, 2020

We are a full-service volunteer organization, dedicated to support immigrant and underserved children across the entire United States and beyond.

Meaningful Teens (, a virtual volunteering program for volunteers aged 14 and above, is looking for volunteers to teach weekly literacy to low-income children (mostly grades K-6) individually over a Zoom platform in breakout rooms.

Mercy expects to have 250 children join us online to learn to read and develop reading comprehension skills with our Meaningful Teen volunteers. This volunteer opportunity is ongoing after a successful summer with 275 volunteers teaching over 175 children. One hour online tutoring sessions with Mercy are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday and Thursdays during the fall from 4 pm to 5 pm PST. Other volunteer opportunities are available on the Meaningful Teens website.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you soon.
