T.L.C for Trees

January 25th, 2014

Location: 305 Richmond Street El Segundo California 90245
Duration: Multiple Days
First Day : Jan 25, 2014
Last Day: Jan 1, 1970

On these Saturdays, you will be volunteering at one of these two sites; Memory Row or Trees to the Sea. Information for both are below.
r Trees planted in Memory Row serve as both living tributes to significant people and events as well as valuable agents that provide a lush pollution barrier between LAX and El Segundo. Clearly it is important that the trees are well-tended so they can do their very important jobs.
r Trees to the Sea serves as a noise and pollution barrier between LAX and residents of the South Bay. This double-row of semi-mature trees was planted by Tree Musketeers in the wide median of Imperial Highway over several years. Help maintain this protective barrier and support an improved quality of life for all residents in the South Bay.Assist Tree Musketeers to provide necessary maintenance for our trees in the Trees to the Sea project of our Urban Forest, along Imperial Hwy in El Segundo.
r Your role: Give Tender Loving Care (TLC) to trees! TLC consists primarily of vegetation removal, mulching, watering and litter abatement. Tree Musketeers provides the tools and know-how, you just come ready to “dig in” to your community!
