Consult4Kids is a company that provides training and resources for after-school programs. C4K’s physical address is in Bakesfield, however, we provide services for 40% of the after-school programs in California and programs in several other states. We are able to do this from a remote location because of the unique aspect of Consult4Kids- it’s all online! While C4K provides face-to-face trainings and support, our website features 2,000 lesson plans, 400+ training videos, tools, resources, and information that users can access anywhere at any time!
r Consult4Kids has 2 ways you can volunteer!
r First, if you are interested in working directly with youth, Consult4Kids will use our network and credibility to set you up volunteering on-site at an after-school proram near you.
r Secondly, you can volunteer by providing remote assitance that will help C4K directly and youth more indirectly. You and C4K will determine what your interests and specialties are and how they match up with the goals and needs of Consult4Kids. An agreement would be made regarding a project output and the time awarded upon completion of the project. Projects could include, but are not limited to researching educational trends, writing blog posts for the C4K website, creating marketing tools for C4K events, writing letters to businesses to ask for donations for rewards and incentives for kids, creating fun activities for youth, and critiquing written material and training videos. You can even film videos, if that is up your alley! These things are done remotely (you don’t come to the office, you complete your agreed upon project from a place of your convenience in the agreed upon tme frame in exchange for volunteer hours.
r Interested volunteers are encouraged to visit the Consult4Kids website www.consultfourkids.com to see all we do! You can apply as a volunteer in tthe blue box at the bottom of any page by clicking on the Blue Foot! Contact us if you have any questions!
