Committed to improving the lives of children affected by HIV and AIDS, The Laurel Foundation believes that every child has the right to experience the wonder of childhood. The mission of The Laurel Foundation is to empower children, youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS through educational and support programs in a safe and trusting environment. Through our programs we strive to contribute to the development of each child’s self esteem, self-awareness and self-fulfillment.
The Laurel Foundation is looking for volunteers to support our upcoming fundraiser and help send at-risk kids to camp FREE OF CHARGE in 2017! On Monday, November 7 we will be holding our biggest fundraiser of the year, the 20th Annual Golf Tournament, at the El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana. We need a TON of volunteer support to make this fundraiser a success and would love to give UCLA’s students the opportunity to get in volunteer hours and make a direct impact on their community!
Volunteers are needed to support guest check-in, set-up, and run games throughout the day. All volunteers will be provided with coffee, snacks, lunch and other goodies throughout the day. This is an all day event, 7:00am – 4:00pm, but we do have some flexibility with volunteer hours.
If you would more information on the event or how YOU can make a direct impact on at-risk children affected by HIV/AIDS, please email us at LFranklin@Laurel-Foundation.org
