Summer Camp Volunteer – HIV Youth

June 29th, 2019

Location: Big Bear Lake CA
Duration: Multiple Days
First Day : Jun 29, 2019
Last Day: Jul 6, 2019

The Laurel Foundation mission is to empower children and youth who are affected by HIV/AIDS or are trans/gender non-conforming through year-round camp programs.

YOU can help change the life of a child who is living with HIV/AIDS or is transgender.

As a volunteer with The Laurel Foundation you will get to work in a team of creative, passionate, unique, and talented individuals. You will become part of a community!

Kids living with HIV/AIDS deal with many social and emotional challenges.  Camp Laurel helps our at-risk campers to rise above the adversity of the disease through fun and supportive programming.

Camp dates are June 29- July 6, 2019.

You will be partnered with another counselor and be a counselor for a cabin group of 6 youth.  Each day you will participate in all the fun activities at summer camp, helping to build your camper’s self-esteem.

This volunteer experience will not only change the life of the children, but YOURS.
