artworxLA, formerly The HeArt Project, combats L.A.’s epidemic high school dropout crisis with a long-term, sequential arts program. We provide arts education to 32 alternative high schools in LA County, including continuation high schools and juvenile halls and camps.
After ten weeks of hard work, our students will present their final art projects for the Fall season at UCLA Kaufman Hall on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Our areas of most need include welcoming and guiding students and classroom teachers, monitoring the student art exhibition and snack areas, and de-installing the exhibition at the end of the presentation.
