artworxLA, formerly The HeArt Project, combats L.A.’s epidemic high school dropout crisis with a long-term, sequential arts program. We provide arts education to 32 alternative high schools in LA County, including continuation high schools and juvenile halls and camps.
After ten weeks of hard work, our students will present their final art projects for the Fall season at the Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Our areas of most need include welcoming and guiding students and classroom teachers, monitoring the student art exhibition and snack areas, and de-installing the exhibition at the end of the presentation.
Where: Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College, 1301 Avenida Cesar Chavez Monterey Park, CA, 91754
Parking: Parking is $2 for the day in Parking Lot 4 at the corner of Collegian Avenue and Floral Drive.
