r WORKSHOP DETAILS:
r The “SB 535 Workshop: Investment Justice through the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund” is an all-day workshop hosted by the UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation, which will convene leaders from across the state to support the development of an analytical and equitable approach to the implementation of SB 535.
r
r The primary focus is on making smart and equitable investments in disadvantaged communities. Secondarily, the workshop could inform other funds that target disadvantaged communities. While not the focus, some of our recommendations will certainly have relevance for how the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund moneys are spent outside of disadvantaged communities, by identifying effective programs that meet key criteria.
