Ever wonder where all that leftover food from your favorite restaurant or dining hall end up? Every year, millions of Americans go hungry even as 40% of our food ends up uneaten.
What if we were able to bridge that gap between leftover cuisine and food insecurity, right here in LA county? Thus, Rescuing Leftover Cuisine was born. We’re a dedicated crew of volunteers who go out to local restaurants and grocery shops, build partnerships, and rescue leftover food to feed our neighbors who need it most.
Whether it’s reaching out to your neighborhood cafe or joining our delivery team, our volunteers make the difference. Come join us, or find out more about the work we do!
Check us out on our website, and you can find out more about becoming a rescuer at http://www.rescuingleftovercuisine.org/volunteer. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!
Whatever time you're able to give!
