r On March 2, 2015, Moffitt Elementary School will be hosting Read Across America Day in observance of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Our goal is to expose our students to positive role models such as The Bruins of UCLA.
r We would like to request The Bruins of UCLA to participate by reading to some of our students and/or speaking at our Spirit Rally. Participants can also share their educational experiences and the importance of reading. Our Spirit Rally will begin at 8:30 am. We are asking for all participants to arrive at 8:45 am to check-in. Our time for guest readers will be in half hour blocks from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Let us know what time works best for you. If our 9:00 am to 11:30 am block does not work for you, let us know what time is convenient. We will definitely be flexible, and work around your busy schedule.
r Our students, staff, and community look forward to meeting The Bruins of UCLA! We hope to hear from you, so we can confirm and schedule all participants as soon as possible. Thank for considering our request. If you have any questions, you may contact Constancio Daguimol or Maureen Bixby by phone at (562) 864-3071 or email at
r Thank You in Advance,
r Constancio Daguimol
