VOLUNTEER TO CHEER!!!
The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is hosting the Purple People Cheer Party along the marathon route to encourage the 25,000 runners participating in the skechers performance LA Marathon including The Hirshberg Training Team. Located at Mile 21 on the grass median strip on San Vicente Blvd at Bringham Ave in Brentwood our station features a mega music mix from DJ Phillip Kim and volunteers just like you cheering the runners on! We would like all volunteers to be with us from 8:30am to 1:30pm on Sunday, February 14, 2016. However, if you cannot to commit to the entire time frame, please let me know when to expect you and come when you can.
Purple is the color of pancreatic cancer awareness, we ask that you please wear all the purple you can! Don’t forget we will be outside so remember your sunscreen, hat, or umbrella.
