The Violence Intervention Program is a non-profit, hospital-based program located at the LAC USC Medical Center in East Los Angeles. Their mission is to protect and treat all victims of violence

r Requirements:
r •Volunteers must be at least 18/ years old
r •Must be Live Scanned for fingerprints through the DOJ/FBI (VIP will conduct the check for volunteers)
r •Must take and pass a Drug Test
r •Show proof of clear TB test within last 6 months
r •Volunteers must be reliable, responsible and trustworthy

Time Details

Child care takes place once or twice a week, depending on volunteer availability. Volunteers will assist in caring for children while their parent or guadian attends parenting classes, therapy, or agency sponsored worshops.
