The Fall Family Festival is an annual county fair style fundraising event held at Open school and attended by more than 500 people from the school community and surrounding neighborhoods.
This extraordinary event is produced entirely by parent, student and teacher volunteers and raises funds through ticket sales and event sponsorships. Like all public schools, we do not receive sufficient funding to deliver our curriculum with programs like integrated music, art, technology, garden, physical education, and extra aides for our amazing and dedicated teachers.
Friends of Open School works throughout the year to raise the money to maintain these programs because they are essential to a well-rounded education for our students, and to supporting the mission of our school. We need volunteers to help run various game booths.
Time Details
Shifts will be in 1-1/2 to 2 hour increments.
