One Bus, One Cause-Operation Gratitude

February 25th, 2017

Location: 21100 Lassen Street Chatsworth CA 91311
Duration: Single Day
Date: Feb 25, 2017

Operation Gratitude is a Chatsworth-based nonprofit that supports active U.S. service members by sending them care packages. The organization has sent over 1.5 million care packages since its founding in 2003. The UCLA Volunteer Center partners with Operation Gratitude throughout the year to contribute over 3,000 hand-written letters from Bruin students, staff, faculty, and community members. On February 25, volunteers will travel to Operation Gratitude’s headquarters to participate in a large assembly day. Tasks will include stuffing, assembling, and mailing thousands of care packages, in addition to screening letters, sorting supplies, and making paracord bracelets. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
