One Bus, One Cause: Operation Gratitude

Operation Gratitude is a volunteer-run organization which sends care packages filled with snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, plus personal letters of appreciation, to New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors, Care Givers and to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas. Since its creation, Operation Gratitude has sent over 1.3 million care packages. The Volunteer Center regularly partners with the organization to contribute about 3,000 hand-written letters from Bruins in care packages each year.

On February 21, One Bus, One Cause volunteers will assist with registration at Operation Gratitude’s care package Assembly Day. In addition, volunteers will participate in the assembly of packages, preparation of materials, and creation of paracord bracelets, among other tasks.
