Mountains Restoration Trust (MRT) is a non-profit land trust dedicated to preserving natural land in the Santa Monica Mountains through restoration, education and land acquisition. Founded in 1981, MRT collaborates with government agencies in an ongoing effort to maintain a cooperative relationship between urbanization and native land.

r On Sunday, February 23rd, the Volunteer Leadership is sending a group of volunteers to Mountains Restoration Trust to help clean up trash and graffiti along the Topanga Lookout. Volunteers should wear old pants and closed toed shoes. A light breakfast, lunch, transportation, and all needed supplies will be provided; all you need is an open mind and willing-to-get-dirty hands!

r This project is a collaboration between the Volunteer Center and the Alumni Scholars Club. The Volunteer Leadership Program gives students the opportunity to work directly with the Center by planning and leading their own community service projects in Los Angeles.
