Saturday, November 19 – 9:00 am to 2:30 pm – Esperanza Elementary School
Esperanza Elementary is a K-5 public elementary school in the Westlake region of Los Angeles. This school was rated by the Los Angeles Times as a “most effective value-added school” based on California Standards Testing improvement.
This project is a follow up project to work begun on UCLA Volunteer Day in September. Volunteers will complete painting projects at the school and interact with the school’s staff, parents, and students. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Volunteers will meet on the UCLA campus. More details will follow in a confirmation email a week before the event.
