Be a part of a refreshing program and inspire people about water issues with Global Inheritance!
r Global Inheritance is seeking passionate, water-wise volunteers for The Oasis Water Bar! This unique initiative recreates everyone’s favorite late-night social hour into a platform for water education. Your role at Oasis would be to become a part-time bartender that is knowledgeable about water-related issues and engage bar patrons as they sample various types of water.
r If you are passionate about the future of California water and have the energy and charisma of a “bartender,” join Global Inheritance!
r We are looking for volunteers for the following events:
r Sony Earth Day, April 22nd 2015 (10 AM – 5:30 PM)
r UCLA Jazz and Reggae Festival, April 25th 2015 (11 AM – 9 PM)
r About Us: Global Inheritance is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that develops creative, cause-based campaigns to educate individuals about issues that affect us globally. Our unique programs employ technology, the arts and experiential learning to reinvent activism and communicate ideas that push for progressive social change by empowering millions of individuals at festivals, events, workplaces and schools throughout the world.
r About The Program: Since its debut in 2013, The Oasis bar has reached over 100,000 people through shots of water and conversations. This April, we’re replenishing the program for Sony’s Earth Day celebration and UCLA’s Jazz and Reggae Festival, and we’re on the lookout for the best and the brightest to help us!
r The Oasis Water Bar is in need of “water experts”. Knowledge of global water issues, water filtration methods, and/or hydrology is key. Being sociable, energetic, and enthusiastic to help “bartend” is equally as important! If you think you’ve got the brains to educate, the energy to work in a fast-paced events environment, and the passion to inspire others….please fill out our Volunteer Form and email a cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
