NVISION Spirit Jam Dance Competition

February 6th, 2016

Location: 4900 Southern Avenue South Gate CA 90280
Duration: Single Day
Date: Feb 6, 2016

The Woodcraft Ranger NVISION Spirit Jam is a youth dance competition between schools (K-8) around the Los Angeles area that promotes fitness, teamwork, and the importance of setting goals. The students work hard to learn an array of dances including; Urban Dance/Hip Hop, Latin Dance or Jazz/Lyrical/Modern Dance. This year we are anticipating approximately 25 dance clubs and over 400 youth.

Volunteers will help set up & break down the event site, and welcome & guide guests. We will have a morning, afternoon, and all day shift for volunteers to sign up for based on their availability. Those interested in volunteering should sign up with Woodcraft Rangers by January 31, 2016. There is a short volunteer form that you will be asked to fill out.

Woodcraft Rangers is one of the largest non-profit after-school program providers in Los Angeles County. We serve about 12,000+ K-12 students annually, at over 60 schools in three districts. Our mission is to guide young people as they explore pathways to purposeful lives.
