My name is Ruplal Sunar, i live in Nepal and i am a programs director of the Jungle book volunteers of Nepal.www.junglebookvolunteers.org
We are a non-governmental, non-political organization that has been registered in the Chitwan District Administration Office since 2000. It was established for the sole purpose of supporting children and women who are socially, economically, and educationally disadvantaged by providing them with basic education and vocational training.
We are looking for volunteers to participate in the above program and a number of other programs including teaching, Medical, Construction, Farming, culture exchange and wildlife. We would like to offer our opportunities through your website if possible. We also have opportunities to take part in the care of Elephants in the Chitwan National Park Jungle of Nepal. We run organic farming experiences for those interested in agriculture. Farms are as listed.

* Potato, mustard and lentil farm.

* Fish farm
* Organic vegetable farm
While working with the Elephants, responsibilities include the following: cleaning up the elephant huts, preparing food for the elephants, bathing them in the Rapti river, if the weather allows and an evening feed. You will then learn how to make elephant’s food.
Accommodation: Volunteers can stay with either a host family or at the Orphanage/guest house. Collection from Kathmandu Airport can be arranged. One night stay in Kathmandu or more if desired, then transportation to the relevant program. At the guest house, they will have a private western-style toilet and shower. Linens are provided Rooms are basic with Wi-Fi.
