Duration: Multiple Days
First Day : Jul 6, 2017
Last Day: Jan 1, 1970
The Los Angeles Public Library provides free and easy access to information, ideas, books and technology that enrich, educate and empower every individual in our city’s diverse communities. The Mobile Eye Clinics are part of LAPL’s ongoing efforts to support the community and improve lives through meaningful outreach efforts.
Be part of a program that brings clear vision to children and/or adults by volunteering at one of the Mobile Eye Clinics hosted by Los Angeles Public Library. This volunteer orientation provides training for volunteers helping at the Vision To Learn and/or UCLA Mobile Eye Clinic programs this summer. You will be trained on how to conduct pre-screening eye exams, learn about the partnership programs, and be prepared to serve as an event attendant.
Time Details
The orientation will be from 10am-12pm on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Subsequent dates will be selected by volunteers at the orientation.
