MLK Day of Service Topanga Ridge Trail Clean-Up

January 20th, 2014

Duration: Single Day
Date: Jan 20, 2014

Be a part of the Martin Luther King Day of Service-a national movement to serve your local community! The Topanga Ridge Trail (located at the top of Stunt Road in the Calabasas area; also known as Top of the World) is a beautiful, 1-mile trail with amazing views of the ocean and the Cold Creek Preserve. Unfortunately, it is visited by people who destroy its beauty by littering and spray painting. During rainfall, this litter gets washed down the slopes into the Cold Creek watershed and Topanga State Park, destroying areas beyond the trail. This trail needs your tender loving care to help pick up trash and to paint over the graffiti. Please join Mountains Restoration Trust on the MLK Day of Service to help beautify this trail while discovering a new trail to hike!
