As an American Express Neighborhood Champion, the Mar Vista Chamber of Commerce seeks to encourage residents to support small businesses in their community. This includes entrepreneurs, artists and artisans. The Chamber advocates on behalf of small business owners in the community.
The Mar Vista Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers for our Small Business Saturday event. The event takes place on Saturday, November 24 from 12pm – 6pm along Venice Blvd in Mar Vista.
Volunteers are needed in 2-3 hour shifts from 8am – 10pm.
We are hosting a neighborhood block party featuring a kids zone, pampering area, stage performers, and local artists and artisans. The event is in conjunction with the Mar Vista Art Walk which runs 2pm – 10pm. In addition, we will be working with Community Recycling to collect gently used shoes to go to people in need.
Volunteers are needed to help pre-event with social media, bag stuffing and the recycling project. On event day we need help with setup and breakdown, kids area, stage, photo booth, social media and more.
Please join us!
Time Details
