The Los Angeles County Alliance for Boys & Girls Clubs Teen Summit is being held at UCLA this Saturday, and UCLA volunteers are needed to assist with sessions for youth. 1400 youth are expected to attend.
Volunteers will need to arrive by 9:30 am and will rotate through three “Body, Mind, and Soul” themed sessions as well as a UCLA campus tour with a group of teens. Lunch will be provided at the event’s lunch expo. Sessions will end by 3:15 pm. If desired, volunteers may attend an opening/keynote session from 9 to 10 am and a closing session from 3:30 to 4 pm.
Please note, this opportunity is available to UCLA volunteers who sign up directly through the UCLA Volunteer Center. To register, sign up here. UCLA Volunteer t-shirts will be provided.
In addition, several volunteers are needed to stuff gift bags for all participants. Bag stuffing will take place from 7 to 9 am.
All volunteers should check in at the Strauss Clubhouse, Los Angeles Tennis Center, on UCLA’s campus.
