Please join us for an amazing opportunity to participate in a conference at UCLA . The Los Angeles Albert Schweitzer Fellows and the Albert Schweitzer Foundation are proud to host the “Live, Love, and Serve” community service symposium on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at UCLA. Live, Love, and Serve is a one-day conference aiming to increase awareness of medical and social issues that communities in Los Angeles face. The event will introduce multi-disciplinary panels of experts that will be discussing issues, such as but not limited to homelessness, disability, and topics affecting the gay and lesbian community. In addition, students will have the opportunity to explore their interests in service by meeting community leaders, local organizations, and Albert Schweitzer fellows.
All undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend this FREE event! We encourage you to come and learn how you can make a difference in the Los Angeles community. Please forward this information to anyone who are interested or will benefit from this unique opportunity. Registration and more information can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/liveloveserve. The registration will be closed on Friday January 18, 2013.
On behalf of everyone at the Los Angeles Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, we look forward to meeting you.
