Lights.Camera.Cure: The Hollywood Dance Marathon

March 23rd, 2014

Duration: Single Day
Date: Mar 23, 2014

We are currently looking for volunteers to help Lights.Camera.Cure make an impact in the fight against pediatric cancer at our upcoming event. On March 23, 2014, the historic Avalon Theater in Hollywood will be packed with people dancing for a cure at LIGHTS.CAMERA.CURE – The Hollywood Dance Marathon. This high-energy event is a six-hour dance party to raise money and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. The fun-filled event features live bands, musical performers, DJs, a silent auction, and of course, celebrities and VIPs on the Red Carpet!
r Last year, over 650 people attended our event and the benefit raised over $67,000 for The Four Diamonds Fund at the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital! This year, we are excited to announce that the 2014 Hollywood Dance Marathon will also benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. With support from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, we’ll be raising money for kids across the nation!
r There are many opportunities to lend your time, skills, and help as a Lights.Camera.Cure event volunteer. The opportunities include: Dancer/Entertainment Check-in, Celebrity Check-in, General Admission/VIP, Tickets/Sponsorship Check-in, Merchandise Table, Silent Auction Table, Dancer Grab and Go, Committee Area – Security, Committee Area – Food Detail, Green Room – Food Detail, VIP Balcony Food Station, and VIP Balcony Security.
