Let’s Read: Help Kids Read to Succeed

September 7th, 2013

Location: 12000 San Vicente Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA
Duration: Multiple Days
First Day : Sep 7, 2013
Last Day: Nov 9, 2013

Let’s Read is an L.A. Works-sponsored, long-term program that provides local elementary- and middle school-aged children with a safe, fun atmosphere to improve their reading skills and fluency. Tutors work individually with students, and then gather for a group activity; we occasionally take field trips to libraries, museums, and college campuses. Volunteers must be 18 years old or older, sign-up through L.A. Works, and submit to a background check.
