KIDS OCEAN DAY Adopt-A-Beach Clean-Up is an annual event at Dockweiler State Beach that brings thousands of elementary students together for a beach clean-up and Aerial Art.

r When: Thursday, May 15, 2014
r 7:30 am – 2:00 pm

r Where: Dockweiler State Beach
r (The end of Imperial Highway between Playa del Rey and Manhattan Beach)
r Parking entrance is located at the corner of Imperial Hwy and Vista del Mar. Free parking will be provided for volunteers.
r
r What: We’re seeking volunteers to greet, guide and mentor students throughout the event. Some volunteers will greet students as they arrive and lead them through the clean-up and into the Aerial Art. Some are needed to help with event logistics or support event sustainability efforts. We always welcome and love volunteers that are happy to help out at the event in any way, as needs arise.

r Other: A training session will be held for volunteers between 7:30am- 8:00am on the day of the event. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Breakfast, lunch and T-shirt will be provided.
