Venice Community Housing Corporation (VCHC) helps low-income families and individuals by providing the opportunities they need to stabilize their lives, including non-profit affordable housing and comprehensive training to achieve economic self-reliance.
For more than 22 years, VCHC has been developing lasting, neighborhood-based solutions for low-income families and individuals. We own and manage …nearly 200 units of non-profit affordable housing, both transitional and permanent, that produce income to help us serve our residents. We also provide a comprehensive program that includes job training, youth development and employment, life skills coaching and family services. This blend of housing and supportive programs allows our formerly homeless and low-income constituents to stabilize their lives and achieve economic self-reliance. Every person who transitions out of homelessness or joblessness adds to the strength of our community. Our efforts make neighborhoods safer and more inclusive.
Volunteers are needed for our annual fund raising event for a variety of tasks: event set-up, food service, busing tables, scullery, passing out fliers, event tear-down.
