Location: 3621 Brunswick Avenue Los Angeles CA 90039
Duration: Ongoing
First Day : Aug 24, 2018

Interfaith Refugee and Immigration Service (IRIS) offers social and legal assistance to immigrants and refugees in the greater Los Angeles region. Our mission is to provide tangible tools and connections to help new arrivals achieve self-sufficiency in the United States.

As a volunteer or intern, you may work in the following programs:

• Citizenship Clinic: Assist permanent residents in preparing their applications for naturalization. If possible, translate applications (typically in Spanish) for non-English speaking clients.

• Food Pantry: Help set up and distribute food.

• Refugee Assistance: Assist newly-arrived refugees in navigating transportation and social services in LA.

For more information or to apply, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Junmey Wang at jwang@ladiocese.org or at (323) 667-0489
