I’m Going To College

November 1st, 2014

Duration: Single Day
Date: Nov 1, 2014

I’m Going To College (IGTC) is one of the nation’s largest collegiate community outreach programs and offers Southern California youth with the opportunity to experience the excitement and tradition of UCLA Athletics while providing them with an understanding of the importance of higher education.
r Our volunteers play a huge part in providing our participants with the overall collegiate experience. All will help run games, paint faces, lead the 8-Clap, and answer questions they may have about UCLA and college in general. Each volunteer will receive complimentary transportation to and from campus and the Rose Bowl, a t-shirt, a meal, and a ticket to the football game.
r Timeline:
r 2 PM – Volunteer buses depart from DeNeve/Top of Bruin Walk
r 3 PM – Arrive at Rose Bowl / Check in at LOT I
r 4:30 PM – College Fair opens
r 6:30 PM – College Fair closes / Fair breakdown / Meals distributed
r 7:30 PM – Kick-off
