Reliance Hospice and Palliative Care is a healthcare agency dedicated to providing quality services with compassion to our patients and their families during the end of life’s journey. We are a growing agency serving patients across the Greater Los Angeles Area, including various neighborhoods of South and Central L.A., South Bay, the Harbor, and north Orange County.
r Hospice is not a place, but a philosophy of care. We care for people who are terminally ill by providing comfort and relieving pain. We serve patients at private homes, board and care facilities, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. As a hospice, we address physical, emotional, social, and spiritual pain of the patient; provide bereavement support to the family before and after the patient’s death; incorporate a team approach; and affirm the dignity and quality of life for all.
r Currently we are looking for volunteers to provide receptionist, clerical, and bereavement support in our main office in Ladera Heights just south of Culver City, as well as to visit patients and families and provide companionship, socialization, and emotional support in multiple locations throughout the Southland.
r We provide comprehensive orientation and training, and we are committed to ensure that you have all the tools you need to be the best volunteer you can be. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and to give back for people of all ages!

r 2. Reference check
r 3. Background check
r 4. Medical clearance (including annual TB test)
