Teach & Give Technology to Those in Need

October 5th, 2015

Location: 2202 South Atlantic Boulevard Los Angeles County United States 3951
Duration: Ongoing
First Day : Oct 5, 2015

At human-I-T our mission is simple; transform unwanted or inoperative technology into operational and educational tools for the millions in need. Striving to go beyond recycling by taking a progressive approach to E-waste management, vocational training and the Digital Divide.

human-I-T is about helping you become a leader in the way E-Waste is managed. Sending your technology to recyclers to be shredded or shipped overseas is no longer enough. Give yourself the opportunity to make a difference in your community by donating your unwanted technology so it may be reused by others.

– Test and evaluate computers, monitors, and other technology for working components.

– Repurpose machines to promote reuse in the community.

– Load computers with a secure up-to-date operating systems, ensuring recipients do not take on hidden costs.

– Help human-I-T environmentally manage the fastest growing waste stream (e-waste) in the world.
