Duration: Single Day
Date: May 19, 2018 • 9AM - 12PM
About us:
World Vision is a global humanitarian organization. We partner with children, families, and their communities to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
About the event:
Your university is called to do great things. World Vision’s Global 6K for Water is an easy way to empower your university to engage your local community, make a global impact and provide clean-life-changing water to children in need.
Nearly everyone in your school can walk, jog, or run the Global 6K—getting a
glimpse of what women and children endure every day just to get water. Each registration of $50 brings clean water to one person in need! We also make the experience personal by giving every participant a unique race bib that shows the photo of a child from a community benefiting from clean water.
Last year, 28,000 people from over 600 churches, schools, and organizations
around the world united to walk and run 6K, on the same day, for the same cause. This year we’d love to see 50,000 people walking to change lives!
We invite you and your university to join us and help end the water crisis by
becoming one of our host sites for the Global 6K.
Thanks,
