GFB Evening of Aloha Gala Dinner

Mission: the Go For Broke National Education Center’s (GFBNEC) mission is to keep the memory of the WWII American veterans of Japanese ancestry (442nd Batallion & MIS) alive through educational & special events, our monument, oral history archives, and exhibits displayed at the center.

The Evening of Aloha is our way of honoring these veterans through a gala dinner. Food provided by Roy’s Restaurants, Maison Akira, and King’s Hawaiian Bakery. The event will be hosted by David Ono with special guests Lauren Kinkade and George Takei. Parking and dinner will be provide for that evening.

Time Details

We are looking for 11 reliable volunteers to help us with this Gala Dinner at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles to pass out programs, watch silent auction tables, and escort guests to their seats. Parking and dinner will be provided for that evening. Hope you can make it!
