Families In Schools mission is to involve parents and communities in their children’s education to achieve lifelong success.
Every year, Families In Schools has their annual Alliance summit where over 300 educators, community leaders and parents gather to talk about the issues affecting students throughout California. In addition, this year’s theme is “Education Without Borders” where districts and nonprofits like the ACLU will talk about what they are doing to address the current political climate at their local schools.
At this event we have two (2) available shifts for volunteers.
6:30am-11:30am volunteers will help setup, check-in presenters, usher and welcome guests to the conference.
Volunteers will get a free breakfast and the opportunity to attend an afternoon session.
11:15am-4:15pm volunteers will help check-in presenters, usher, support guests, breakdown and clean up.
